Here at Levi’s®, we love our old-school band tees — whether they’re hand-me-downs or a product of a great thrifting haul. One of our favorite ways to wear them is on the back of a Trucker Jacket. In this simple DIY, we teach you how to transform the back panel of your denim jacket by fusing it with a graphic tee.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Trucker Jacket
- T-shirt
- Scissors
- Pins
- Chalk
- Ruler
- Thread
- Needle
STEP 1
Cut the sides of your T-shirt along the edges.
STEP 2
Lay the graphic over the back panel of your Trucker Jacket, and add chalk marks along the panel seams.
STEP 3
Pin your T-shirt to your Trucker Jacket to keep it in place.
STEP 4
Chalk a 1/2 inch buffer to allow room to fold and sew. Fold the edges of your T-shirt underneath and pin them to your Trucker Jacket. Repeat this step on all sides of your T-shirt.
STEP 5
Sew your tee to your Trucker with a basic running stitch. Remember to keep stitches small and even.
