Levi's® Upside-Downable Trucker Jacket
Levi’s® Teams Up with Amazon's Making the Cut
Campaigns /
July 2021
The Amazon Original hit series Making the Cut is all about finding the next great visionary designer and entrepreneur, so naturally Levi’s® had to get involved. In the new episode which aired July 30 on Prime Video, the designers are given an assignment to unleash their authentic self-expression to create a two-look denim-based collection with innovation at its core, born out of a unique collaboration between Levi’s® and Amazon.
The winner (spoiler alert) was Gary Graham's two-part look featuring the revolutionary Levi's® Upside-Downable Trucker Jacket. A perfect mix of avant-garde fashion and Levi’s® iconography, this boundary-pushing look was created by designer Gary Graham as a fluid version of the classic Levi’s® Trucker that’s designed to be worn in two different ways. In one form, it’s a short-cropped oversized jacket. When rotated 180-degrees, it reveals a longer silhouette and a more “cocoon-like” fit. However you wear it though, the genderless silhouette is meant to inspire creativity and promote experimentation. Even better? It’s available now exclusively in Amazon Fashion’s Making the Cut store.
The Levi’s® Upside-Downable Trucker Jacket
Featuring Levi’s® premium denim and iconic red tab, the Trucker Jacket is intended to be wearable up-side-down - rotated 180°, with back hem worn as shawl collar and front hem as button-front placket.
Offered in two sizes S/M & L/XL
Retails for $200
