In 2001, Japan-based MEDICOM TOY launched BE@RBRICK, a line of collectible designer toys inspired by the shape of a teddy bear. Merging pop art, fashion, and street culture, these highly stylized figures have become a global phenomenon among collectors and art enthusiasts. Levi’s® and BE@RBRICK have joined forces once again for a new collection that offers a unique blend of nostalgia and modern design intended for both collectors and denim heads alike.
The latest collection brings together two icons–celebrating Levi’s® rich heritage through a unique, collectible capsule. Inspired by 1940’s banner prints sourced directly from Levi’s® Archives, the collection transforms BE@RBRICK figures into striking canvases of vintage Levi’s® advertisements used during this era. The result is a bold, eye-catching all-over print design that merges history with contemporary collectibles.
The limited-edition range features collectibles in three sizes. The 1000% version stands at 27.5 inches (70 cm) tall and comes adorned in 1940s-era Levi’s® mini-selvedge 501® Jeans, crafted at Levi’s® Eureka Innovation Lab in San Francisco. The mini 501® Jean is completed with an iconic red tick selvedge stitch, buckle back detailing, and a co-branded back-patch.
The collection also consists of a 3-piece set including a 400% version standing at 11 inches (28 cm) tall, alongside 2 versions of the 100% figure at 2.5 inches (7 cm) tall. The 400% figure is wrapped in the same archival banners & completed with a printed pair of jeans, while the 100% figure comes in two variations: one printed with Levi’s® denim and another without. Both the 1000% and 100% & 400% sets come in special edition packaging that showcases the archival banner graphics featured on the figures.
The new Levi’s® x BE@RBRICK Collection launches worldwide on March 21st, 2025 and will be available for purchase on Levi.com, the Levi’s® App, & select Levi’s® Stores.
