A UNION OF ICONS
On the 10th anniversary of our first partnership, we are tickled black and red to introduce the newest Levi’s® X Jordan Collection. We worked with the Jordan Brand team, sharing our knowledge of denim and craftsmanship and absorbing their knowledge of athletic footwear and Jordan Brand signatures. The result is a perfect union of icons, fused into a single collection: The Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket and denim Air Jordan IV.
A PERFECT COMBINATION
The Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket combines our iconic denim Trucker with the crinkle taffeta of the classic Jordan warm-up suit. Worn denim out, red taffeta is stitched into underarm panels for a peek-a-boo flash of color. Meanwhile, the back is adorned with a lightly distressed, silicone-raised Flight logo. Reverse it out and you’ve got a black, perforated, crinkle taffeta jacket with a denim accented collar and the Jumpman Flight logo emblazoned on the back.
As Mr. Mars Blackmon has always known, “It’s gotta be da shoes!” And these don’t disappoint. Based on the legendary Jordan IV, these prewashed, indigo beauties take advantage of warp and weft threading to give the dark-to-light contrast of classic dark denim with a light cuff. The tongue is adorned with a signature Jumpman logo leather patch with a tear-off side label.
The collection launches January, 17th, but you won’t find this limited edition collection just anywhere. For U.S. locations, see store list below. For international shoppers, you’ll need to get to London, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Osaka or Shanghai. You can also find them at select streetwear boutiques, but you’ll likely have to be in-the-know to get them before they’re gone.
If you’re a sneakerhead, denim lover or a Jordan fan from back in the day, this collaboration is — oh no, don’t do it — a slam dunk, but more like a contest-winning, from-the-free-throw-line, statuesque Jordan kind of dunk.
