Born from the Southern California surf scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s, Stüssy has swept through the clothing landscape to redefine the look & ideology of casual-wear. What started as a form of promotion - screening t-shirts & shorts to sell alongside surfboards – grew organically from youth movements & inadvertently revolutionized the apparel business. Since its inception, the brand’s designs & overall aesthetic have touched on references from a range of underground subcultures – an approach that has appealed to a worldwide network of creative youth who share a common interest in surf-culture, skateboarding, & music.
Stüssy and Levi’s® return with a second capsule collection for Fall 2023. Inspired by our shared California roots, the six-piece range is comprised of Trucker Jackets and matching Jeans, each piece crafted from jacquard fabric and finished with two-tone garment dyes.
First up from the new collection is the Stüssy & Levi’s® Jacquard Jeans, developed from 2-ply jacquard fabric with Stüssy’s signature ‘S’ pattern woven in. Available in three distinct colorways: black, pink, & brown; each pair is finished with two-tone garment dyes, producing a one-of-a-kind result with a washed vintage feel. The classic jean is offered in a straight cut with a slightly looser fit, 5-pocket styling, zip fly, and burnished tin hardware. Special features include co-branded back patches and shanks combining Stüssy’s double ‘S’ design with a classic Levi’s® button shank motif.
Next up is the Stüssy & Levi’s® Jacquard Trucker Jacket, a modified Type II jacket with an oversized, boxy fit and two-flap front pocket design. Crafted from jacquard fabric, the jacket also features Stüssy’s ‘S’ pattern woven in. Each jacket is finished with two-tone garment dyes and offered in black, brown, and pink to match the jeans. Special features include co-branded back patches and button shanks.
Stüssy & Levi’s® season 2 launches worldwide on November 10th, 2023. The collection will be available for purchase on Levi.com, the Levi's® App, select Levi’s® stores, select Stüssy chapter stores, select Dover Street Market locations, and Stussy.com. Specific Stockist below:
