About this Style

The Levi’s® Vintage Clothing Spring/Summer 2020 collection is a tribute to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s 1975 soapbox derby, and the artists who raced it. With bright pops of color and an airy, laid-back feel, each vintage reproduction celebrates the birth of SFMOMA and the Bay Area artists of 1975.

Born in a time of ultimate self-expression, bootcut jeans hit the scene in the 1960s as part of the counter-culture movement. Levi's® introduced the 517™ Boot Cut Jean as “full from the knee for the boot,” made with game-changing wrinkle resistant denim. This is one is the exact reproduction of that same 517™ jean that's become a classic today.

Best pair of jeans I’ve ever owned! The fit is cool and relaxed, and gives that little spice of style that your other everyday jeans do not. I bought them 2 years ago or so and no jean even compares, basically use them all the time. I need them in every color!

Objectively, perhaps these jeans deserve 5 stars for build quality. They’re excellent in that regard. Wouldn’t want them to be stitched or constructed any other way. However, they were too tight for me. If they made these in a 38x30 I’d absolutely want a pair or two. So, unfortunately I knock a star due to lack of sizes available. Please consider making these in more sizes Levi's! Would be happy to try again.

These jeans fit well. I’ve bought several pairs over the past year or so This week one pair split apart where a rear pocket was sew on. I don’t I’ll replace them with style!
