As great as they've always been!

I wanted to see if Levis 501s were as good as I remembered. I remember them lasting for years and years, being great quality, comfortable and just inherently good looking. But it had been a long time. Could they still live up the idea I had built of them?
The answer's a resounding "YES!" The quality of these jeans is far better than anything I've worn- jeanswise- for many years and I have no doubt they WILL last years. They really are great felling and great looking, just as I remember.
Now I have 'rediscovered' them, I am not sure I could ever go back to discount denim. I may have to invest in a few more pairs now; I know it will be worth it.
