Nice color, but fit and feel not what I expected

Not what I expected. Not soft on the inside or outside, not thick, and not stretchy. Overall a bit stiff. That being said, I’m keeping because the color is nice and it seems like the sweater will last. Size up. I’m usually a size 4/Small, but this would be tight for me in S. Medium fits as I’d expect a Small to fit. Plus, the sleeve and neck openings are not stretchy.
