Comfy, great fit, and unique color

The on-line color name "higher ground" didn't help me--I went by the model's photo. To me It looked like a 75% burgundy, with 25% cinnamon brown in the blend. It is just that, in person. I compare this reddish brown color to hot-cocoa, the instant-powder kind you just add hot water. Another comparison may help anyone familiar with wood varieties and stains--this is "Rosewood." (Not as burgundy as Mahogany, & not true brown as Walnut, but a blend of both.)

Premium Jean with great color

I like the feel of the premium Jean. The color breaks away from the norm. Picture shows an olive color but it looks much darker in person .

Jeans are well made and glad to get away from the basic denim colors. These are my first premium jeans and although I have no issues with the 511 line it’s a great addition.

They are 511s. These are the standard 'normal' jeans. This is cool normal, though. The normal you want to be seen in. The darker the wash, the more sophisticated the look. These will forever be contemporary. Even 100 years from now. These are not the 514 straight cuts. The 514 is for dads who don't care how they look. The 511 is for people who care a little. So stylish dads and teens alike - I say go for the 511. Make it your favorite Levi jean for life.

Ugly color

Thought it was brown. Kind of a red/purple. Dark plum? I will throw these onto the pile of Levi’s going to charity. I have no luck buying Levis online. Either they don’t fit at all or they are not denim or…ugly color
