Order Red shirt, Medium was little snug, over another top, end up with a Large better fits.

Runs big, order Large, ended up with a Medium, fits great 4 a Tall gal, flannel good 4 cool days.

Great fit. Loose enough to have layers underneath and not feel suffocated

Silly me, I got the invitation in my inbox to review a plaid shirt, but I was talking about the Juniors SO flannel shirt in my super detailed review (Ivy26). THIS shirt is a gift for my daughter, which she requested. She has one, and wanted another. It is roomy and cute on her. I will give her stats. I can't be as detailed about hers, though, so I won't write another book! ;)

When people leave a review that says: Love it, Hate it, So comfortable, Nice color, etc., it gives nobody who orders online indication whether it's something that will work for THEM. I will give my full stats, so you can have a good idea of whether this shirt will work for you or not...I am 5'10", 150 lbs, my measurements are bust 35, waist 28, high hip 37. I ordered a small. It fits perfectly PRE washed, EXCEPT, the sleeves are a bit short. This can be expected given my height, but actually, it's unusual; I don't have long arms for a tall person. I will keep the shirt because I like it in every other way otherwise. The weight of the flannel is medium, I would say by my experience with women's flannel shirts nowadays. I say the small fits perfectly; I never wear my clothes form-fitting, but I don't like my shirts billowy around my middle, either. The small on me isn't billowy, but leaves room for a tshirt underneath. I got the coral, it's my favorite mix of pink and gold. I love India cotton, where this shirt is made, but I am super concerned about shrinkage. I might have bought a medium had I known and just dried it well after washing. I will have to try to remember to baby this size by either lightly drying or air drying.

Purchased the red from a Macy's store, and chose a size down because it runs big. However, it's still roomy enough for layering, and the soft cotton fabric is delightful. Would have purchased the black, but oddly it wasn't as good a fit or as comfortable.
